Thanks for that, KD. It truly has been a crappy Monday - but I look forward to many hours of geeking off in darkened movie theaters in the coming weeks and months.
BTW - Free Comic Day was a success in our house. JediBoy is crossing his fingers that Bruno will pick *his* name out of the hat for a free sub to his comic of choice. And we are many dollars poorer and many comics richer for the experience.
I have to admit that watching an endlessly spinning circle is a little mesmerizing, but it doesn't really cheer me up. Maybe you are just more Opus Dei than I am. Or your day was so catasfuckingstrophically bad that the Vulcan Ninja is channeling Dr. Tristan Adams in order to calm you down. She figures it's this, or Elba II.
Mea culpa, David. At my house we have a sacrosanct rule that nothing exists if it is not written on the calendar in the kitchen. We forgot to write FCBD on the calendar and only remembered it (again) on Saturday morning. We managed to fit in a trip to BA's with everything else going on.
But next year - the calendar will be our guide. Let us pray...
I guess I should use my Palm-thingy, and maybe set an alarm or something. But it seems like so much work. And checking my e-mail from Marvel would probably be a good idea too.
